Junior Corrosion Technician
This role suits someone with a Senior High School degree and at least 1 year of experience working as a technician in the oil and gas industry, ideally with offshore exposure. You'll bring hands on knowledge of in situ and on site sampling and analysis related to corrosion, along with familiarity using equipment such as the Hatch 2000 series, Dragger kit, and Biosan kit. A solid understanding of on line corrosion coupon and probe retrieval and replacement in pressurized equipment without interrupting the process is expected, as is knowing how service valves and retrievers work across manufacturers, particularly Metal Sample and RCS. You should also be comfortable interrogating corrosion probes, using a probe data logger, and conducting on site sampling and analysis for baseline readings and post chemical injection monitoring.
